No experience is required. Many dancers join Ghana Dance Kamp with little or no background in African styles. Our teachers break movements down clearly and progressively, allowing beginners to feel comfortable while giving advanced dancers new tools, details, and perspectives to grow further.

What happens during the 11 days?
​During the 11 days of the camp, you’ll experience a rich program that goes far beyond regular dance classes. Expect high-energy dance classes and in-depth workshops, cultural and movement lectures, excursions inside and outside the city, games, Beach vibes, battles and show nights, parties and special interactive moments designed to help dancers connect naturally, charity event to donate and connect with poor communities. Every day is balanced with learning, expression, and community-building, creating space for both intensity and fun.
What are the dance styles in this camp?
The camp is mainly about African street dance styles (90%) and Dancehall (10%). You will be exploring different styles such as Azonto, Naija Fusion, AfroHouse, Amapiano, Ndombolo, Afro Fusion, Odi Dance, Dancehall, Afro Traditional from Ghana.
Do I need a good level in english?
It’s a plus but not a must. We have had people with level zero in English who had the best time of their lives. The camp is a community based vibe. Most the time the energy of the moves speaks loud enough and when needed, there is always someone to help translating.
Can I come alone?
Absolutely. Many participants always attend on their own. Through the apartment life, the classes, the games, the parties and group activities, Ghana Dance KAMP naturally creates opportunities to connect with like-minded dancers.

Your ticket gives you access to the full GHANA DANCE KAMP Experience over 11days combining intensive dance training and cultural immersion.
